TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Toledo police are looking for two gunmen who they say targeted a teenager on her way home from work.

Christina Duran-Baugh stopped by the Marathon gas station in the 1700 block of Lagrange Street around 1 a.m. She parked by a pump, right underneath the lights, and bought some cigarettes. When she returned to her car her ordeal began.

"I jumped in," Duran-Baugh says, "and put my keys in the ignition. He came over to the side of the window and said 'what up?'"

What happened next left Duran-Baugh in pure terror.

"He opened it himself and he went to sit down and I was pushing his butt out the door. He just kept saying 'Give me your keys, I'm taking your car.' I was like, why are you doing this to me?"

One suspect got in the back and the other sat in the passenger's seat pointing a gun at her side.

"He kept telling the guy in the back, 'Smoke her, smoke her.'"

Christina knew she would be shot so she tried to scream for help.

"I was sitting there with my arm out the window, signaling, 'He's got a gun, somebody help me.' Not one person tried to help me."

She wrestled one for her keys herself without success.

He pushed her out the door, slid into her seat and was about to take off.

Christina was able to reach in the window and over the steering column to grab her keys out of the ignition. The two men got out of the car and ran.

Duran-Baugh sums them up as, "Scum. There's no reason for them to do that. I was scared. I was freaking out. I didn't start crying until I got to my mom."

If you have any information about this crime, police urge you to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111 before they do this to another unsuspecting teen.
