(WTOL) - Spring is the season for outdoor landscaping. If you have a large-scale project, Mulch Worx may have an easier way of doing it.

"We blow materials in. We can blow landscape mulch. We can blow stone, aggregate, compost. We actually have a system where we can inject seed directly into our compost," said Gary Morrical of Mulch Worx.

Gary can spread nearly 90 cubic yards of mulch a day, about one semi-truck full. It's his method that makes it both efficient and environmentally friendly. "Areas like this, where there is no easy access for a bobcat or wheelbarrow or dump truck or anything like that . We blow it in through a tube, so that way, we can minimize the turf damage," said Morrical.

Mulch Worx is based in Indiana, but the mulch is all bought locally to reduce emissions and costly transportation. It also supports eco-friendly reuse and recycling efforts in our local area. Morrical tells us, "All of this material is recycled material. It is actually from the dump site up on Stickney Drive, where the residents take all their branches and stuff like that."

The recycled material is ground up into nutrient rich mulch and organic material. then redistributed to the landscape without disrupting the natural environment and with much less work.
