Mendoza in court for arguments over blood test results

TOLEDO (WTOL) - A man facing charges in a deadly accident appeared in court Monday morning.

Cory Mendoza is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide down in Wood County.

Police say Mendoza fled the scene of an accident in Weston that killed two people. He was caught shortly afterward and hospitalized.

The issue argued today in court was whether blood alcohol test results will be used as evidence in trial.

Judge Alan Mayberry recessed the court to make a ruling on that.

Mendoza's trial is set for Monday, May 11.
