Councilman Collins speaks out against police layoffs

(WTOL) - The proposed layoffs of members of the Toledo Police Dept. are sparking the ire of Councilman D. Michael Collins who says if they go through, the ratio will be 1.5 officers per 1,000 people.

    The U.S. Marshals Service has reportedly captured Shawn Christy, a man wanted for making threats against President Donald Trump, in Richland County, Ohio, on Friday.  According to the Mansfield News Journal, Christy, one of the FBI's Most Wanted fugitives, was believed to have crashed a vehicle on Interstate 71 in Richland County on Sunday. Christy, 26, had been on the run for three months after he allegedly made threats against Trump and other officials.  He ...
