TOLEDO (WTOL) - One man who wants to be Toledo's next mayor held a town hall meeting Monday night, April 13. Former Fire Chief, Mike GBell, met with a group in north Toledo.
Some of the concerns that came up include crime, possible police layoffs and city pools.
Bell says Toledoans are frustrated with the current administration, and they're just waiting for the right person to step in. "The thing about Toledo people, they're very hearty. They haven't given up, and they're waiting for somebody to just step forward and actually just listen to their concerns and attempt to address them," he told News 11.
So far, the other three candidates in the race include Ben Konop, Jim Moody and Keith Wilkowski. In informal polls conducted by WTOL, Bell was slightly ahead of Wilkowski for the early lead.
