Nia - fusion fitness program that blends the expressiveness of the dance arts, the power and precision of the martial arts and the expanded awareness of the healing arts. Nia is a creative workout adaptable to all ages and fitness levels.

Nia movements are usually done in bare feet to take advantage of the cues sent to the body regarding alignment and balance.

Nia means the Body's Way to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual fitness and well-being.

Created by Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas who adapted this concept from aerobic fitness in 1983. Today, it is in 15 countries and taught by over 1000 teachers.
