TOLEDO (WTOL) - Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur is in Toledo Tuesday, April 7. She'll talk about help available for small businesses.

The event is at Maumee Bay State Park from 10:30-noon. The Park is located at 1750 Park Rd. in Oregon.

This is a seminar for current and potential small business owners to find out what financial assistance they can get.

Specifically, the seminar will highlight the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act signed into law by President Obama on February 17. The bill gives the Small Business Administration (SBA)new tools and enhanced programs for financial assistance for small business owners. The seminar will also provide businesses with important information on how to explore sales opportunities with the federal government.

    On Saturday, the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority leaders and the City of Toledo hosted "Burgers and Baseball" at the Weiler Homes Field. LMHA offered signups for kids wanting to join a t-ball team as well as anyone who would like to coach.
