CENTRAL TOLEDO (WTOL) - The fire started just before 2 a.m. Tuesday, April 7 in a home on the corner of Klondike and Hawley in central Toledo.
Emma Warvel lives in the neighborhood. "We're just worried because it's hitting so close to the neighborhood now, you know. I heard there was one on Harding that just got hit," she told News 11.
News 11's Joe Stoll has been at the scene all morning. He's learned the family was not home at the time. They were not staying in the house out of fear because they say the home was shot at on Sunday.
The home collapsed from the immense heat. It has now been torn down completely. The house next door was also damaged.
