SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP (WTOL) - Lucas County deputies say they may have broken into 50 different Springfield Township cars in the last month.

Now, they may have caught their suspects on video during a $400 shopping spree at a Reynolds Road carryout.

"Clothing, shoes. The surveillance video is from a carryout that sells a little bit of everything," said Lucas County Sheriff's Department Detective Mark Woodruff.

Who got the bill? Not the three in the video, but college student Amanda Peterazak, who says she could have paid her school tuition with $400.

Detectives say the three suspects stole Amanda's credit card in a car break in. It was the same night this week when detectives say they broke into 13 other cars in the same neighborhood.

"They smashed windows out in the majority of the cars. Some, they got into unlocked vehicles, said Detective Mark Woodruff.

These three mostly got away with iPods and other electronics, but the plastic helped them get a lot more. "I want to know why the story owner is not checking IDs," said Amanda, "I had a pink polka-dotted card."

The bank is giving Amanda her money back, but the detectives and all the victims want you to help identify the three suspects, saying they belong behind bars.
