Local charter schools in a flap over proposed funding cuts

TOLEDO (WTOL) - Local charter school leaders say community schools would take a $140 million hit if the govenor's plan to cut funding to them by 20 percent passes.

Indeed, the superintendent of the Maritime Academy of Toledo predicted disaster in a press conference Monday afternoon. Renee Marazon says the quality of education would be put at risk.

    Fremont Police are seeking the public's assistance after a breaking and entering was reported at I Scream Sprinkles. Police need your help identifying a suspect who is wanted for questioning in regard to the ice cream shop incident.  Breaking and Entering If you have any information on the break-in, call Officer Huddleston at 419-332-6464.
