YWCA Milestones awards honor women in our community

TOLEDO - The YWCA of Greater Toledo announced the 2009 Honorees for the YWCA Milestones: A Tribute to Women annual award.

This year's honorees are:

Ann Anderson Stranahan - Arts
Paula H. Fall - Business
Isabel Escobar, Ph.D. - Education
Marge Brown - Government
Judy Seibenick, RN BSN CHPCA - Sciences
Betty Amison - Social Services
Ann Sanford - Volunteerism

This is the 14 year the YWCA of Greater Toledo has recognized women of Northwest Ohio who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and who have opened doors for other women to achieve milestones of their own.

"All of us at the YWCA are thrilled to be able to honor these seven wonderful women with this award," said YWCA CEO Lisa McDuffie.

The YWCA Milestones: A Tribute to Women awards luncheon will be held at the SeaGate Convention Centre, March 26, 2009 at 11:30 a.m.
