
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio's unemployment rate was 10.1 percent in September, down from 10.8 percent in August, according to data released by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
In Lucas County, the September unemployment rate was 11.3 percent. That is down from the August rate of 12.4 percent.
Wood County was also down a percent coming in at 10.0 percent for September. In August, unemployment for the county was 11.0 percent.
Williams County remained among the highest unemployment rates in the state at 14.1 percent for September.
