The Wood County Health Department will hold community forums to answer questions from concerned citizens about H1N1 influenza (formerly known as swine flu).
The forums will be held on the following dates and locations from 7-9:00 p.m.:
The Wood County Health Department is planning a comprehensive, multi-agency strategy and vaccination plan to prepare for the upcoming flu season and resurgence of the H1N1 flu. A special focus of the forum is keeping children and young people healthy as they return to school. The forums will provide updates to local businesses, schools, and residents about what they can do to prevent and reduce incidents of the virus in Wood County.
The forums are open to the public and free parking is available. Questions from the public are welcome and will be answered after the presentation. Citizen's can submit questions ahead of time by sending them to psnyder@co.wood.oh.us. Resources and fact sheets will be available at the forums.
