
(WTOL) - Three Toledo charter schools are being forced to close their doors at the end of the school year.
Our media partner The Blade reports the Academy of Business Technology, Paul Laurence Dunbar Academy and Englewood Peace Academy all received failing grades on the state report cards.
State rules recquire schools to close if they fail several years.
The State of Ohio is changing the way it grades school districts.
In all, there are 30 state standards on this year's report card. Some of those tests will be dropped in the future, including the Ohio Graduation Test, which is being replaced with the ACT Eollege Entrance Exam.
