From Springfield Schools Superintendent Kathryn Hott:
March 20, 2009 - 9:15 AM -- Telephone service for Springfield High School, Springfield Middle School, and Holland Elementary School will be out of service on March 20, 2009. The loss of service occurred due to construction taking place on the high school campus. Members of the public wishing to contact staff or students at these schools should call the district's main office at 419.867.5600.
The school district has prepared for this situation by equipping administrators at each building with both radios and cellular phones. There will be no interuption to the school day at any of the three school buildings and the district wants to assure the public that the loss of telephone service does not present a risk to the safety of staff and students. # # #
