TOLEDO, Ohio — Former University of Toledo football player Harvey "Scooter" McDougle, Jr. is dead at the age of 37.
He played for the Rockets in 2004.
A judge previously found McDougle and several teammates guilty in a point-shaving scandal.
No official cause of death has been released.
