BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Bowling Green State University football has landed a quarterback in the transfer portal.

Former Indiana and Missouri quarterback Connor Bazelak announced on his Twitter that he was transferring to the Falcons with two years of eligibility remaining.

The Dayton native started nine games for the Hoosiers last season, throwing for 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

During the 2020 season at Missouri, he was named the SEC co-Freshman of the Year.

Before Bowling Green's final game of the season in the Quick Lane Bowl, Matt McDonald, a three-year starter for the Falcons, announced that he would not be returning.

Bazelak is expected to come into the program and instantly compete for the starting job.
