FINDLAY, OH (WTOL) - A deserving girl in Findlay was awarded a free bike on Tuesday.

Fourteen-year-old Kate Seem was surprised at GT Wheels in Findlay with a brand new bike.

It's part of the Boyk Law "Bikes for Kids" program.

Kate was nominated by Sarah Crips, director of Awakening Minds Art, who works with helping people with autism in expressing themselves through painting.

"Kate has matured so much, not just through her art skills, but also in maturity in finding outlets that are positive. And I thought that a bike might be a great opportunity for her to express herself, have fun, let out some of that energy she has," said Sarah.

The final Boyk Law "Bikes for Kids" bike will be awarded in Toledo at Wersell's Bike Shop soon.
