One victim from Tuesday night double shooting in central Toledo dies; coroner rules death a homicide

Two 20-year-old men were taken to the hospital. Dorian Kneely died on Wednesday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — One victim from a double shooting in central Toledo died on Wednesday.

The shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Elliott Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. 

Officers found 20-year-old Dorian Kneely at the scene with a gunshot wound to his head and leg and 20-year-old Ki'shaun Woodard also with a gunshot wound to the leg. 

Both were transported to the hospital, where Kneely later died from his injuries. Woodard was reported to be in serious condition.  

An autopsy report released Thursday confirmed Kneely died of multiple gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide.  

Toledo police were initially alerted to the incident by Shot Spotter.

It is unclear if there are any suspects in the shooting.
