Here's how to get a free coffee on National Coffee Day

Several companies are offering deals Wednesday for National Coffee Day

CONNECTICUT, USA — It's National Coffee Day!

Recently released data showed that 60% more Americans drank coffee in the past day than any other beverage, including tap water. Young people continue to drive the growth with nearly half of those 25 - 39 years old drinking at least one cup of specialty coffee in the last day.

Overall, Americans have increased coffee consumption at work by 55% since January 2021. 

Here are some deals to get a free cup of joe this morning:

Dunkin' Donuts

DD Perks members can get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase. If you're not signed up for DD Perks, you can download the app or head to their website.

Starbucks

Not only is it National Coffee Day but the chain is also 50 years old this year. To celebrate, Starbucks is inviting customers to bring in a clean, empty, reusable cup up to 20 fl. oz into participating locations to receive a free cup of Pike Place coffee. 

To find a Starbucks cafe near you visit Starbucks.com/store-locator  for local hours and store information. Limit one free coffee per customer.

7-Eleven

The chain is offering 7Rewards loyalty members one free, any size hot free with the purchase of baked goods at participating stores. Additionally, those looking to celebrate National Coffee Day at home can get a free, extra-large hot coffee with any purchase through the 7-Eleven delivery 7NOW app.

Panera Bread

Panera Bread is looking to help celebrate parents and caregivers on National Coffee Day. According to the company, simply let Panera know at the cashier or drive-thru that you're a parent or caregiver and you'll receive free coffee all day.
