LUCAS COUNTY (WTOL) - We're over two months away from the November election, but early voting starts September 30.

In order to avoid long lines, Lucas County is moving it's early voting location from Government Center to the larger EMS Training Center at 2127 Jefferson St.

"People will still be able to register to vote and vote absentee at the same time, so we're going to start with paper ballot only the first 5 days. Then after that, we hope we'll be ready to vote on machine," says Linda Howe.

Additional voting information

Don't forget voter registration ends October 6. Also, if you've moved since the last time you voted, check in with the Board of Elections to update your registration.
