One of the owners of the Rodeo Bar and Grill pleaded no contest last month to possessing human growth hormone.

News 11's Lisa Rantala reported live from the court house in Oregon.

This all stems from a wrong way crash on I-280 back in December that resulted in the death of a family of five.

Michael Gagnon reportedly left the Rodeo Bar and Grill, then drove the wrong way on I-280 slamming head on into a mini van. That accident resulted in a search of the bar where investigators found human growth hormone.

An attorney for Jon Roumaya said he was trying to lose weight, so he used the steroid. When it didn't work, he threw it into a junk drawer in the bar and forgot about it.

On Monday, April 14, the judge sentenced Roumaya to three days in jail, seven days of electric monitoring, 50-hours of community service and random steroid drug testing.

Roumaya is one of three owners of the Rodeo Bar and Grill.

In a related case, the state handed out citations to the owners a few weeks ago for serving an intoxicated person in relation to the I-280 crash. Attorneys said they are denying the accuracy of the allegations.
