TOLEDO -- A would-be burglar who got caught in the act had to answer to a judge today.
You may remember Edwin Geller. He got stuck in the vent of the Trilby Diner.
The News Channel talked to court workers who've seen it all, but say this case is one of the strangest.
"I have never seen anything like that before," said court worker Terry Burke, who's worked at the courthouse for 26 years. "I think it will be on Lettermen's funniest crimes. He'll make a new category."
It's the images of Geller stuck in the vent that made this break-in so unforgetable.
"When I see the video and the woman walks in and sees feet, I think that was the shocker of the day," said Valeria Hobbs. "I don't think the man did his homework because it is going to thin at one part of the grill."
Geller's actions could land him in prison. He faces two counts of breaking and entering. His bond was set at ten thousand dollars.
