Businesses offer free meals and admission for veterans

The following restaurants and businesses are offering deals to veterans for Veterans Day:

Chilis - From 3 p.m. to midnight, veterans receive a free meal from a specific Veteran's Day menu.

Applebees - Veterans receive a free meal all day from a specific Veterans Day menu.

Hooters - Veterans with an ID eat for free.

Outback Steakhouse - Free Blooming Onion & drink for veterans.

Tim Hortons - Free patriotic donut for veterans with an ID.

Imagination Station- Free admission for veterans on Veterans Day.

Toledo Zoo - Free admission Thursday with a military ID.

Several stores are also offering a 10 percent discount today.

Most deals include active duty and veterans and require proof of military service such as a military ID.
