Akron police hunt for man after deadly stabbing

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Akron detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing that took place in the 1100 block of Keys Place around 10:30 Wednesday night.

Police say 22-year-old Michael D. Larue was stabbed during a fight in the parking lot by 28-year-old William Brandon McDaniel.

Larue was rushed to Akron City Hospital where he died. The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy Friday.

A warrant for murder has been issued for William McDaniel, a black man, 5'9" tall and weighs 155 pounds.

Detectives are asking for help locating McDaniel. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department.
