TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) - Rev. Jesse Jackson was in Toledo by the invitation of Rep. Marcy Kaptur.

Jackson began his day with a breakfast at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. He then visited the home of west Toledo resident Kim Bowers, who has a home in foreclosure. She said it's embarrassing to be the face of foreclosure, and Rev. Jackson said foreclosure is a silent epidemic going on because home owners are embarrassed and ashamed. He wants to get the focus off home owners and onto lenders.

Jackson will also speak to juniors and seniors at Woodward High School Monday afternoon. School officials say he plans to address the upperclassmen about the importance of education and going to college.
