TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) - The annual list of the 10 Worst Toys of the holiday buying season came out this week and it includes some big names on kids' wish lists.

For more than 30 years, WATCH or World Against Toys Causing Harm, has put out a list of their top ten most dangerous toys for the holidays.

"In the last year alone there have been 31 recalls representing more than 4 million dangerous toys still polluting the market place," said Joan Siff, Director of WATCH.

Things like a Batman figure, a fury Maltese and even a Curious George counting book made it on the list this year. But are parents concerned?

"Yeah, we do pay attention to those and obviously we do some investigation of our own," said Randy Turner.

"If I don't see it on TV as a recall I don't pay too much attention," Amy Bates stated.

"I think when (our children) were younger we would worry a bit more. But now that they're older, I don't think it matters as much," said Anne Burkart.

Most parents News 11 talked to on and off camera agreed. Lists like these do catch their attention but they usually use their good judgement and carefully watch over their kids to protect them as opposed to following warnings to the letter.
