TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) - Alvin Tate, who was shot by Toledo police early Saturday morning, died at the hospital Monday.

Police say Tate fired a gun into a crowd of people at the Big Shots bar in central Toledo. People in the crowd also had guns and fired at Tate.

Investigators say Tate then ran into a field and started shooting at police. Two officers fired back about ten shots, hitting Tate two or three times.

In a press conference, Toledo Police Chief Mike Navarre said the Big Shots bar has been such a problem  in the past that they had police already near the scene.

This is the fourth police-involved shooting in Toledo this year.
