TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The House of Representatives could vote on the historical health care bill Saturday.

News 11 spoke with local leaders on opposite ends of this fight.

Congressman Bob Latta says he's voting "No" on the legislation.

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur says she favors it.

The big question going into this weekend: are there enough votes to get it passed?

As democrats scramble to find enough support for the health care reform bill, your local representatives are digging in.

Marcy Kaptur says she supports the bill as long as current abortion law is maintained.

"I am inclined to be supportive of the bill right now," said Kaptur. "I'm trying to get language that concerns the Hyde Amendment imbedded into the bill itself."

On the other side Bob Latta is adamantly opposed to it, saying its trillion dollar price tag is too costly, and doesn't do enough.

"I'll be here till kingdom come to vote no on this piece of legislation," said Latta.

Latta says the democrats are trying to push the bill through, sneaking it on the weekend.

News 11 asked Toledoans what they think.

"I didn't realize it was tomorrow. I knew it was coming up, but not tomorrow."

"At least they're working!"

"I think anything they can do to get the job done, it would be appropriate voting on a Saturday."

But will the job get done? there is a question if there are enough "Yes" votes.

Latta does not think it will pass.

Kaptur says it's looking good.

Until the final tally is counted everyone will continue watching the critical health care vote.
