Gibson and his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39, welcomed a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, the eighth child for the 53-year-old actor-filmmaker, Gibson's rep confirmed to TVGuide.com. Lucia was born at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.

The Oscar winner had seven children (six boys and one girl) with wife Robyn, who filed for divorce in April this year. Their marital fortune was estimated at $900 million in 2006.
