TOLEDO, Ohio (WTOL) - The University of Toled is focusing on changes at the Scott Park Campus near Nebraska and Parkside to demonstrate its commitment to the environment.
The University of Toledo dedicated the Scott Park Campus of Energy and Innovation on Monday. It's home to a wind turbine and a 10-kilowatt solar panel display.
The campus will serve as a hands-on alternative energy lab for teaching, research and demonstration.
UT will use the turbine and the solar panels to generate electricity on the campus.
