Clues sought in Lenawee County fire, rare-coin theft
A fire ripped through the Tecumseh Coin and Grey Fox Floral building on Monday.

TECUMSEH (WTOL) - Clues are being sought after a fire that tore through the Tecumseh Coin and Grey Fox Floral building on Monday.

On Monday at about 4 a.m., fire crews were dispatched to Grey Fox Floral and Tecumseh Coin, 116 S. Evans St., for a structure fire. When police and fire crews arrived, the flames were visible in the sky.

An investigation reveals that several rare coins were missing from a safe that was in the building. At this point an inventory is being done to determine what has been taken, but the owner indicates that several rare coins are missing and no suspects are known at this time.

The cause of this fire is unknown, but the fire is described as suspicious and is being investigated by the Tecumseh Police Department and the Michigan State Police Investigation Division.
