2 men arrested after allegedly assaulting, using racial slurs toward 2 victims in BG

BOWLING GREEN (WTOL) - Bowling Green police arrested two men after they allegedly assaulted and used racial slurs toward two victims in Bowling Green.

Police say the incident happened on March 31 around 3:30 a.m. at the Waffle House on East Wooster Street.

During their investigation, police discovered that two suspects used racial slurs toward two victims after the victims entered the restaurant.

Police say the suspects paid for their meal, then assaulted the victims.

Police say the victims were treated by the Bowling Green Fire Division EMS and the Wood County Hospital for various injuries.

The suspects were identified as 22-year-old Jacob Dick from North Baltimore and 21-year-old Zachary Keller from Custar.

Dick was arrested on Thursday and charged with felonious assault and ethnic intimidation. He is being held at the Wood County Justice Center on a $50,000 bond.

Keller was arrested Friday and also was charged with felonious assault and ethnic intimidation and is being held at the Wood County Justice Center.
