TOLEDO (WTOL) - A Toledo man was charged with kidnapping after being accused of taking a six-year-old from an TPS elementary school.
Police arrested 25-year-old Dayvon Forbes for allegedly taking his ex-girlfriend’s child from Glenwood Elementary School.
Police say Forbes is the ex-boyfriend of the child’s mother and did not have permission to pick up the child.
Forbes allegedly told the child’s mother he was going to hurt and possibly kill the child.
Police say Forbes later dropped the child off at a home and told the child to wait until someone picked them.
The child was eventually returned unharmed to their parents.
Forbes is being held in the Lucas County Jail.
