Toledo, Sylvania, Oregon, Rossford trash collections canceled Thursday; Stevens Disposal also delays pickup

Republic Services confirmed that trash and recycling collection will not take place in Toledo on Wednesday due to the extreme cold.

TOLEDO (WTOL) - Republic Services confirmed that trash and recycling collection will not take place in Toledo on Thursday due to the extreme cold.

That means the collection will be delayed one day the rest of the week.

Collection for Tuesday will not be affected.

Refuse collection for Sylvania is also canceled for Thursday.

Because of this, collection will be one day late for Sylvania residents for the rest of the week.

Trash and recycling pickup for the city of Oregon is also canceled this week.

The regular schedule will resume next week.

Waste Management will not be collecting trash in the city of Rossford this week. Normal trash collection will resume on Feb. 6. Recyclables will be picked up for the entire city on that date as well. The city asks that you not place your trash/recyclable carts at the curb this week.

Stevens Disposal, which serves parts of Monroe, Lenawee, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties and Sylvania is delaying its Wednesday residential routes until Thursday. Stevens asks that customers have trash put out the night before. Thursday and Friday customers should still put their trash out on their regular day.
