BOWLING GREEN (WTOL) - Bowling Green State University is offering free admission to all home athletic events to government workers affected by the shutdown.
The university’s athletic department says the offer is valid for any regular season event based on availability and will last until the shutdown ends.
To get the deal, federal employees will need to present their government ID at the BGSU ticket office to get tickets from themselves and one guest.
BGSU says each employee will also receive a voucher for free popcorn and a soft drink.
The university says the offer is available immediately, including the hockey game against Ferris State on Friday.
