NDA students travel to Washington D.C. for March of Life

TOLEDO (WTOL) -Thursday was an exciting day for dozens of students who attend Notre Dame Academy.

That’s because 33 students made their way to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life this weekend.

Students loaded a bus early this Thursday morning.

While in D.C., students will attend the Life is Good rally and mass ahead of the march.

Last year more than 100,000 people joined the march which travels from the Washington Monument to the Supreme Court.

“It’s people who are happy and hoping to demonstrate to the rest of the country the joy that we find in life and beauty that life has, whether that’s in the womb or at an old age or anywhere in between,” said Sarah Hunter, a teacher at Notre Dame Academy.

Bishop Daniel Thomas is also headed to Washington.

and so is a group from Bowling Green.
