Light snow may impact Thursday’s afternoon commute; be prepared for First Alert Days this weekend

TOLEDO (WTOL) - A mild night is expected with low temperatures near 20 degrees.

Light snow will develop Thursday and will affect the afternoon commute. Temperatures will be near 32 degrees, which can create very slippery conditions on roads.

Accumulations into the night: 1 inch to 2 inches.

Friday will provide a break from wintry weather. It will be mostly cloudy with highs near 32 degrees.

FIRST ALERT DAYS: Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Saturday will bring snow with blowing and drifting through the afternoon and evening. Accumulations over 6 inches will be possible with higher drifts. Check for more specific forecasts as the weekend draws near.

It will be windy and bitterly cold Sunday and Monday; dangerous wind chills are likely.

Tuesday and Wednesday next week will bring a chance of more accumulating snow.
