Thursday will bring a chance of light snow. One to two inches of snow are possible, likely in the afternoon.

The next storm system will threaten the area with heavier snow on Saturday. While it is not possible to get a detailed local forecast five days out, we are giving you advance warning that this storm has the capability of six inches or more of snow and blowing snow. This means travel could become quite difficult over the weekend.

The coldest air of the winter season so far is also likely. Low temperatures by Monday morning will be near zero degrees.
