TOLEDO (WTOL) - Winter is back and looks to only tighten its grip over the next week. Highs this week will either be at or just a few degrees above freezing, meaning most of the snow on the ground will stay there. A partly sunny Monday will give way to more clouds and a few light snow showers Tuesday. Another system to watch swings through Ohio on Thursday and may bring another light round of snowfall. A lot of attention this week will be spent watching the weekend as a much bigger winter storm is likely. Right now there is a chance this storm will move just south of our area but it’s worth watching as a shift north would bring big snow potential. Either way the deepest plunge of coldest weather this season arrives late next weekend.
