TOLEDO (WTOL) - Police are still looking for a man who stole a ToleGo bicycle that was later found Friday evening.
A post from the ToleGo Bike Share Facebook said the bike found by police and in great condition but will endure a thorough check through before being used again.
The manager of Toledo’s new bike share program told police the GPS on the bike pinged, but no payment was made.
The manager believes someone took the bike out of its locked dock in the downtown area.
He said the last located the bike pinged before the battery died was at the Covenant House at 702 N. Erie St.
The bikes are worth about $1,500.
