LAMBERTVILLE, MI (WTOL) - A Michigan man charged with reckless driving pleaded no contest to the charges on Friday morning.

Prosecutors claim that Raymond Reyome struck and killed two teens, Justin and Alyssa Haun, with his pickup on July 4 in Bedford Township.

WTOL 11 previously reported that on Reyome’s way back from Wendy’s, he swerved off the road and hit the two teens.

Justin, 13, was pronounced dead at the hospital while his older sister, 16-year-old Alyssa was taken in for surgery. She later died.

A no-contest plea is when the defendant admits the facts of the case, but not their guilt.

Reyome next will appear in court on Feb. 17 at 1:15 p.m.
