TOLEDO (WTOL) - Ring in the Noon Year at the Toledo Zoo!
The Zoo has the perfect event to celebrate New Year’s Eve for young kids and those who have a hard time staying up until midnight.
Noon Year’s Eve is a family-friendly event that provides the same fun New Year’s festivities during day-light hours.
Head to the Zoo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the stroke of noon to see the rise of the recycling ball with biodegradable confetti, an apple juice toast and sing a rendition of Auld Lange Syne.
Zoo goers can also enjoy crafts, an ice carving demonstration and animal feeding along with an ice slide in the Winter Village.
Noon Year’s Eve is free with Zoo admission.
The Zoo will be open on New Year’s Eve from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m, with Lights Before Christmas beginning at 3 p.m.
