GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Alison Jackson does not know where to turn next for help.
Her 15-year-old daughter Jaelyn has been missing since Thursday, Dec. 6.
“She’s my everything, she’s my air. she’s my sun, my moon," Alison said.
“My days don’t function without her.”
Mom and daughter had an argument Thursday night, but Alison says it was over typical teenager issues.
Jaelyn left home to stay at a friends home, but she never showed up for school on Friday and has not been seen since.
“This is really breaking me down and I consider myself to be a very strong person, it’s killing me,” Alison said.
An Instagram message popped up on Jaelyn’s feed over the weekend and in the message Jaelyn threatens suicide.
Although Alison, who is registered nurse, says Jaelyn has not been diagnosed as depressed and she has never considered her suicidal.
She thinks someone with access to Jaelyn’s Instragram account made the post, but she’s still worried sick about it.
“I just want to know that she’s alive and she’s okay."
Alison is trying to hold it together for her two younger children, but it is not easy.
She is working with Garfield Heights police, who are asking anyone with information to contact them.
