TOLEDO (WTOL) - The local group, Buffalo Soldiers, gave back in a major way Monday.
They delivered toys for the Wayman Palmer Community YMCA.
Members with the group collected an SUV full of presents for kids.
It was important for this organization to reach out and help local children in our community.
“It lets them that know somebody cares about them and it’s part of that shared experience. All the toys will be here, they have the event in the 15th. Kids will be able to open up their toys and have a shared experience of ‘hey this is what I got, oh you got that’ and just share that. And you know that helps bullying go down down down," explained Earl Mack with Buffalo Soldiers.
Each of the children had three items on their lists, which will be end up underneath their trees for Christmas morning.
