CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Browns still need to draw an inside straight to make the playoffs, but hope is still alive in Cleveland!

A defensive stand on 4th and goal with just over two minutes to play, followed by an interception at 1:04 of the 4th quarter led the Browns to victory over the Panthers this afternoon.

It was a tough loss for Carolina, who failed to capitalize on an early lead.

Jarvis Landry was the offensive standout of the game for Cleveland, as he rushed for 54 yards and 1 touchdown on 2 carries. Near the top of the highlight reel was Mayfield's 51-yard TD bomb to Jarvis Landry in the second quarter.

Carolina are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7. The victory bumped Cleveland's record up to 5-7-1.

The Browns face the Broncos next week.
